Families and School Together has been a successful program in Wendouree West. It has reinforced the value of open communication between students, families and school and has been enjoyed by all involved.

It is now one of the most 'happening' areas in Wendouree West and provides hours of entertainment for our fearless riders.Jaycees Park has been transformed into an exciting family friendly park and offers a beautiful entrance to the neighbourhood. It provides the community with BBQ facilities and plenty of recreational space for social gatherings.A bright colourful mural adorns the local youth centre. The eye-catching display features a character struggling to come to terms with life's challenges and limits. Other characters illustrate the danger of talking to strangers and encourage people to find better ways to channel anger.The Internet Cafe's the perfect place to 'Bee Online and Bee Informed'. The Wendouree West website keeps residents up-to-date on local and international news, views and events.Using the resources of the local Tool Pool, residents are taking great pride in making their gardens look as good as the upgraded homes and parks. It's all part of 'Making Our Houses Our Homes'.The new Wendouree Health and Lifestyle Centre offers residents the chance to get fit and healthy while meeting new friends. As it is said, 'Healthy Minds And Bodies Create A Healthy Community'.With safety in mind a Walking School Bus has been established for a local primary school. Older members of the community enjoy social interaction with the children while ensuring they arrive at school safely and on time.Residents gather in front of the proposed multi-million-dollar community hub site to discuss future plans. The heart of Wendouree West will beat strongly again.
